Job Description

Join our team at Weichai Power European Science and Technology Innovation Center as a Working Student specializing in hydraulic system simulation. Located in the vibrant city of Aachen, this role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the machine-building and operating technology industry. As a student, you will work part-time alongside our engineering team, contributing to innovative projects and gaining valuable insights into hydraulic systems.

  • Assist in the simulation or tool development for enhancing performance of hydraulic systems
  • Support to validate the developed simulation models to ensure their accuracy and reliability
  • Support diverse engineering projects related to hydraulic powertrain systems for mobile machinery applications
  • Collaborate with engineers to analyze system requirements and design specifications
  • Document findings and prepare reports to communicate results to the team

Required Profile

We are looking for a motivated student eager to learn and contribute to our dynamic team. The ideal candidate should possess the following skills and attributes:

  • Currently enrolled in a relevant engineering or technical degree program.
  • Good knowledge of fluid power, hydraulic systems and hydraulic component.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication skills in both written and spoken English.
  • Proficiency in German is a plus but not required.
