Join our team at Weichai Power European Science and Technology Innovation Center as a Master thesis student focusing on the development of a semi-automated risk assessment approach for hydraulic powertrain systems. The following tasks await you and can be adjusted in scope depending on your interests:Develop a semi-automated risk assessment workflow for hydraulic powertrain systems, with a focus on DFMEA support
- Build and structure hydraulic powertrain system schematics using defined tools
- Define and manage component metadata for hydraulic components such as pumps, valves, cylinders, actuators, sensors, and controllers
- Develop scripts or tools to extract component information and system connections from digitalized schematic files
- Support the identification and evaluation of potential failure modes based on engineering knowledge, predefined rules, and available test experience
- Analyze how system design changes can be efficiently reflected in updated risk assessments
